AFLCMC Pitch Day
November 13 @ 1:00 pm - November 14 @ 5:00 pm
U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Pitch Day is modeled after the inaugural Air Force Pitch Day in March 2019, as well as commercial investment pitch competitions. The event will award Phase II SBIR contracts on-the-spot to companies based on a streamlined evaluation of written proposals and in-person presentations.
LCMC, the equivalent of the #3 company on Forbes’ annual list, awards more than $250 billion in contracts each year. The Small Business Innovate Research (SBIR) program selects small businesses to help the military solve critical problems. LCMC Pitch Day companies have moved from Phase 1 to Phase 2 and are seeking contracts with the Air Force as well as follow-on investment to begin commercializing their products for use on aircraft or weapons systems.
The afternoon of November 13 and all of November 14 will be an open opportunity to make faster and smarter strategies in technology investments, partner with small businesses, and see a showcase of new technology solutions and concepts. The morning of Nov. 13 is limited to private invitation-only pitches. For more information on participation opportunities, please check out the AFLCMC Pitch Day website: https://aflcmcpitchday.com/.
