Internships

Local college students and hospital interns apply academic knowledge to real world processes. The goal is to identify opportunities for improvement in Services, Aircraft, Maintenance, Civil Engineering, Security Forces, Supply, Hazardous Waste, Vehicle Maintenance and Medical arenas

Hands on Training and Internship

WPAFB and SANG have many workforce needs that could be filled by students. Example: Davis Monthan AFB identified needed skillsets/projects that can be supported by students from local institutions or higher education and a clearinghouse will be established to match student’s requirements.

Physical Therapy Student Training

Establishes and maintains professional training opportunities between the 628 MDG and Trident Medical Health Team.

Disaster Response Training

Grand Forks AFB and the City of Grand Forks will share resources, training, and planning services for public works.

First Responder Joint Training

The installation now has separate emergency response agreements with each major hospital and partnerships focus on use of installations decontamination unit and cooperative information sharing.

Firearms Training

Facilitates joint training, information, sharing and support 172 law enforcement members from the county.
